Warsaw SportsBoys Soccer

The Warsaw boys soccer team rolled to a 12-0 win over Maconaquah Saturday.

A plethora of players got into the scoring act for the host Tigers in the dominating victory.

Eric O’cock paced the offense for Warsaw with three goals on the day.

The duo of Garrett Reinholt and Joaquin Juarez each booted home a pair of goals for the Tigers. Also scoring goals for the hosts were Jorge Rico, Tedros Berelsman, Elian Mejia, Ethan Grill and Kyle Hayward.

Berelsman also added a pair of assists in the match. Cole Voss and Eliud Mejia each also had an assist.

Warsaw, now 2-0-1, will play at Fort Wayne Northrop Tuesday evening. The Tigers will then open conference play by hosting Plymouth on Thursday.

Volleyball

The Warsaw volleyball team went 2-2 in the Kokomo Invitational.

The Tigers defeated Kokomo 25-15, 25-16 and Frankfort 25-18, 25-11. Fishers topped Warsaw 25-13, 19-25, 15-3 and Hamilton Southeastern bested the Tigers 25-15, 25-15.

Warsaw, now 4-2, hosts Homestead Monday night.
