The Tippecanoe Valley tennis team claimed a 4-1 win over visiting North Judson-San Pierre Thursday.

Seth Hoffman claimed a win over Briker Stayrock at one singles, 6-1, 6-1, and Eric Wright defeated Gavin Alonso, 6-2, 6-0 at two singles.

Garrett Feldman and Dakota Parker put away Blake Shell and Caleb Shireman, 6-2, 6-3 at one doubles, and Jeremy Landis and Connor Fretzel beat Gavin Legac and Zach Huges, 6-0, 6-2 at two doubles.

Hayden Kaminsky beat Payton Mills in a super tiebreak at three singles, 6-3, 4-6, 12-10, for Judson’s only win of the evening.

Volleyball
Tippecanoe Valley volleyball lost a nail-biter in four games to sectional rival West Noble, 25-21, 13-25, 27-29, 26-24.

Makenzie Woodcox led the Lady Vikings at the net with 10 kills and four block assists, while Sophie Bussard led the defense with 16 digs. Shayleigh Shriver and Hannah Jansma tallied four aces apiece.

Valley’s JV won in two games, 25-16, 25-18 Thursday.
