KOSCIUSKO — With the beginning of the School year, Cub Scout Packs throughout Kosciusko County are gearing up for fall recruiting.  Several “Joining Night” dates have already been set. Following is a list of Schools and the corresponding Join Night information:

• Eisenhower and Washington Elementary — 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at First Christian Church.
• Harrison Elementary — 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Eastlake Skating Center. (Free Skating)
• Jefferson Elementary — 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 28, at  Jefferson School Cafeteria.
• Leesburg Elementary — 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Leesburg Elementary Cafeteria.
• Lincoln Elementary — 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Lincoln School Cafeteria.
• Madison Elementary — 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at  Eastlake Skate Center (Free Skating)
• Mentone Elementary — 7 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 23, at Mentone Elementary School.
• North Webster Elementary — 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 28, at North Webster Elementary Cafeteria.
• Syracuse Elementary — 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, at Syracuse Elementary Cafeteria.
• Cub Scout Packs at Claypool, Milford and Sacred Heart Elementary Schools are also planning Joining Nights beginning after Labor Day.

Cub Scouting is open to boys in grades 1-5.  There is also a new program this year for Kindergarten boys called Lion Cubs.  Those interested in Lions may also attend the Joining Nights.
