WARSAW — Warsaw native Neil Sand recently had the opportunity to meet Vice President Mike Pence.

Sand is serving in the US Army based in Vilseck Germany. Sand has been through Eastern Europe in the Black Sea region as part of NATO exercise Saber Guardian 2017 and was fortunate enough to meet Vice President Pence while in the former Russian state of Georgia during the Vice President Pence’s recent visit during exercise Noble Partner 2017. 

Sand is the son of Lori and Matt Brubaker and Phil and Jenni Sand of Warsaw. He has two sisters, Nicole Rapp and Paige Sand, also from Warsaw.
