ETNA GREEN — A grant through the Kosciusko County Community Foundation helped fund a new playground for Heritage Park, West High St., Etna Green.
Suzie Light, executive director of Kosciusko County Community Foundation, visited Heritage Park on Aug. 8 to present members of Etna Green’s town council with a check for $2,976.60. The funds helped cover the cost of the pea gravel and cement edging around the playground. The entire project cost $25,000.
The Foundation provides funds for a number of Etna Green causes, including the Etna Green Community Fund and the Etna Green Museum Fund. These funds are provided by generous donors.
