SYRACUSE – The Wawasee 14U travel softball team will host a tryout on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Wawasee High School softball fields.

The tryouts will run from 9-11 a.m. for any girl 10-14 years old that plans on attending Wawasee High School. There is no cost to try out for the team. Players are asked to bring a parent to registration and be at least 15 minutes early.

The intent of the team is to build the Wawasee program from the ground up. The team will focus on developing skills and the knowledge of the game. The team will be coached by the high school coaches.

The team will be constructed through the tryout and be formulated for the 2018 playing season. Games are still TBD for 2018.
