WARSAW – Cut day saw teams pack their bags Friday as the Baseball Players Association World Series hit mass elimination stages.

The final of the local teams, Wawasee Elite 11U, saw its season end with an 11-10 loss to Shamrocks of Battle Creek. All three of the CCAC Attack teams were knocked out, the 10U Attack dropped by the Michiana Scrappers 7-6, the 11U Attack lost to Prime Time 5-4, and the 13U Attack was eliminated Thursday.

Saturday (weather pending) will see the championship rounds for the 10U, 11U and 13U brackets.
