Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

4:28 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, East Armstrong Road and North CR 200E, Leesburg. Drivers: Rachel Boyle, 17, Wildwood Lane, Winona Lake; Kurt Kammerer, 35, East CR 700N, Leesburg; and Jeremy Wobrock, 31, 15th Street, Winona Lake. Boyle was stopped at a stop sign and did not see Kammerer’s vehicle approaching. Boyle pulled into the intersection, colliding with Kammerer’s vehicle. The impact caused Kammerer’s vehicle to slide into the path of Wobrock’s vehicle. Kammerer was flown from the scene by air ambulance due to injuries. Damages up to $100,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 3925 Corridor Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Teresa Evans, 63, Lynn Lane, Warsaw. Evans hit a light pole with her vehicle while in a parking lot. Damages up to $2,500.
