Road Closure Planned For SR 14 In Kosciusko County On July 19

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that two small structure replacements are scheduled for SR 14 in Kosciusko County. SR 14 is expected to close on or after Wednesday, July 19, weather permitting.

The closure is scheduled to take place over Crazy Creek, 2.4 miles east of SR 13, and Crazy Creek overflow, 2.67 miles east of SR 13. Both closures are located between CR South 700E and CR South 950W in Kosciusko County.

Access to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the work. The official state detour for the closure will be SR 13 to US 30 to SR 5. The road may be closed up to 70 calendar days during the work.

Work on the structures is expected to be complete by late October, weather permitting. The contract was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction Co. for $1 million.
