Officers with Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, South SR 19 and West SR 25, Mentone. Drivers: Cleo L. Orendorf, 67, North CR 1000W, Nappanee, and Jeremiah A. Vires, 5365 650, Rochester. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:32 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, US 30 and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Taylor M. Gatchel, 20, Burke Street, Columbia City, and Maria Duron, 56, East Pierceton Road, Winona Lake. Gatchel advised she was stopped at a stop sign. She observed a semi traveling eastbound but felt she had enough time to get to the median before the semi crossed Commerce Drive. She advised she did not see Duron’s vehicle and collided with her. Duron was transported to KCH. Damage up to $25,000.
