Mary Ellen Robinson, 79, Noblesville, formerly of Bremen, passed away at 3:15 p.m., Saturday, July 1, in Community Hospital North, Indianapolis.

Mary was born on July 4, 1937 in South Bend, the daughter of the late Melvin and Bessie (Keyser) Carbiener. On April 19, 1958, she married Bradley Robinson, Sr. He passed away on October 27, 1989.

She was survived by three sons, Gene (Lisa) Robinson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Carl (Lisa) Robinson, Dayton, Ohio, and Brad (Lenae) Robinson, Jr., Noblesville, and five grandchildren, Lindsay, Andrew, Casey, Wes and Alex.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two siblings, Marjorie Edel and Robert Carbiener.

Mary was a former longtime member of the Bremen First United Church of Christ and was active in the Stephen Ministries.  She is currently a member of the Noblesville First United Methodist Church. Mary was an active member of her “retiree’s group” and had many friends in both Bremen and Noblesville.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life.   She will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, in the mausoleum chapel of the Bremen Cemetery, 100 E. 2nd St., Bremen. Rev. William Greenhood will officiate.

Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Hamilton Co. Humane Society, 1721 Pleasant St, Noblesville, IN 46060.
