Officers with Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:18 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, East SR 14, west of South CR 700E, Warsaw. Driver: Rebecca K. Williams, 39, Pike Street, Wabash. Williams advised she was traveling eastbound on SR 14 when a deer ran onto the roadway and struck the side of her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

5:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, US 30 and Apple Road, Etna Green. Driver: Michael R. Hefner, 18, East State Street, Etna Green. Hefner advised that he was traveling in the left lane of US 30 when he sneezed, which caused him to leave the north side of US 30, striking a highway sign post. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:31 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Wisk W. Derifond, 28, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw, and Billey R. Shepherd, 68, Cedar Road, Bourbon. The vehicles collided in the parking lot at Menard’s. Damage up to $10,000.
