Emily Davis, 81, Bradenton, Fla., and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 7:08 a.m. on May 8, 2017 in Westminster Manor in Bradenton.

On Feb. 15, 1936 in Orrville, Ohio she was born to Richard C and Catherine (Irvin) Atkinson.

On Aug. 30, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio she was united in marriage to G. Edmund Davis who preceded her in death. She worked as a Bailiff in the Court System and had been a school teacher. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church and a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is survived by her son; Todd (and spouse Paulette) Davis of Warsaw, daughter; Beth Alvin of Denver, Colo. along with five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Judy Hart of Albuquerque, N.M., Kit Nisam of Minneapolis, Minn., Elizabeth Cross of Cincinnati, Ohio and a brother Richard Atkinson of Santa Fe, N.M.

She was preceded by her husband and her parents.

A memorial service will be take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 29, at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, presided over by Pastor Andrew Morton of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
