Ashley Nicole DeMont, 17 died at 4:04 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident.

Ashley shared her time between both her parents. She was born on May 4, 2000 in Plymouth to Dan DeMont and Jessica (Wargo) DeMont and had lived all of her life in Marshall County.

She worked for Brian Clark Forage, Argos and Ponderosa in Plymouth. Ashley was going to start her senior year at Argos High School this fall, where she was actively involved in Argos Leo’s Club and BPA – Business Professionals of America. She had attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth. Those close to Ashley
knew of her love of the outdoors, either fishing or hunting. She had a big heart and smile to go along with it.

Ashley is survived by her parents: Jessica DeMont (fiancé Jimmy Buffington), Plymouth; and Dan (Karen) DeMont, Argos; her sisters: Courtney DeMont, Erin Edwards and Mya DeMont; a brother: Colton Edwards; her grandparents: Bill and Sharen Wargo, Casa Grande, Ariz.; Ed and Sharon DeMont, Plymouth; and Julia Campbell and Brian Clark, Argos.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Shirley Wargo.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Friday June 23 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 425 S. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 24, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 425 S. Michigan St., Plymouth with Rev. Bob Land of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth.
