WARSAW — At approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning, June 19, emergency responders were dispatched to a multi-vehicle accident on East US 30, near The Car Company in Warsaw. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire and Lutheran EMS responded to the accident.

Multiple injuries were reported and some victims were ejected from their vehicles during the collision. The exact number of victims and their conditions are unknown at this time. Lutheran Air medical helicopters were called to the scene and transported two patients.

The accident is still under investigation at this point. Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of US 30 will remain closed until the scene is cleared.
