WARSAW — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Forte Residential and Forte Home Health Care, 120 S. Lake St., Warsaw, on Thursday, June 1.

The ribbon cutting was to celebrate Forte Residential and Forte Home Health Care’s recent move into the building previously occupied by First Source Bank.

Forte Residential Inc. was founded in 1992 to help individuals with developmental disabilities remain in their family home or close proximity through supported living services. Forte Residential Inc. helped pioneer individualized in-home care through the Medicaid Waiver program in Indiana.

Forte Residential Forte provides staffing for personal care, community access and habilitation for the northern half of Indiana through regional branch offices located Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Goshen, Plymouth and Kokomo in addition to the corporate office in Warsaw.

Home Health Care services was added in 2012 to complement the services of the medicaid Waiver programming provided by Forte Residential. Some individuals need additional services and some only need the Home Health Care services. Both companies use the same family driven model.
