Steven Earl Bruner, 76, formerly from Warsaw, passed away of natural causes at 6:30 p.m. May 27, 2017, at Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne.

He was born on March 3, 1941 to Earl and Margaret (Bowser) Bruner in Mentone.

He was a veteran from the Koren war 7th Infantry Division where he was an MP, he later worked on the Warsaw police department as an officer and later retired from RR Donnelley’s.

He loved to travel and take photographs and watch nature from his window.

He is survived by his only child, Kristin (spouse Darrell) Shriver; daughter of former spouse Bonita Bruner and his beloved grandson Noah,Akron. His Brother Dan (spouse Tammy) Bruner living in Greenwood. He also is survived by his friend/partner Diane Moser. He is preceded in death by both his parents.

There are no services planned. He will be put to rest at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
