Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

6:31 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, South CR 775E, Pierceton. It appeared a vehicle had been headed southbound on South CR 775E when it came upon a curve. The vehicle had gone on the curve, straight into a wooded area. It appeared the vehicle had been there for an extended period of time. No driver was around the vehicle and no one had reported the crash. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, Lake City Highway. Drivers: Michelle R. Kauffman, 53, Debra Drive, Goshen, and Mykayla Galbraith, 16, Highlander Drive, Warsaw. As Kauffman was switching lanes, she side swiped Galbraith’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

2:18 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashlee R. Smith, 23, James Street, Milford; Aron Ball, 39, Wayne Street, Laketon; and James R. Fromm, 52, West Main Street, Peru. Smith was unable to stop in time and rear-ended Ball. The force of the collision caused Ball to rear-end Fromm and then run into a utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.

3:51 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Connor S. Brennan, 22, Judson Avenue, Evanston, Ill.; Benjamin E. Keener, 43, Division Road, Pierceton; and John C. McPherson, 65, Brome Avenue, Worcester Mass. Brennan was traveling eastbound on Lake City highway as traffic was backed up in front of him at an intersection. He did not slow down in time and rear-ended Keener. The force from the collision caused Keener to rear-end McPherson. Damage up to $2,500.

6:09 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, East Winona Avenue and Argonne Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Tina M. Harting, 48, North CR 400W, Silver Lake, and Anthony E. Hyden, 65, East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Harting rear-ended Hyden. Damage up to $5,000.
