MIDDLEBURY – Northridge used a strong spring to shore up the 2016-17 titles in both the boys and girls Northern Lakes Conference All-Sports tallies, issued Tuesday by the conference.

A second-place finish in softball and fourth-place spot in tennis gave the Lady Raiders enough points to hold off Warsaw, 114-113, despite Warsaw’s title in girls track and top four finishes in tennis and softball. Northridge, which won winter titles in basketball, swimming and soccer, finished at least fourth in all but one sport. Warsaw matched the feat, but had just two titles in track and cross country.

Wrapping up the girls ledger was Concord in third (108), which won a volleyball title, then a huge drop off to fourth with NorthWood and Plymouth tying at 67 points. The Lady Panthers were golf champs, the Lady Pilgrims the tennis champs. Wawasee was sixth at 64 with its softball title, and Memorial (61) and Goshen (54) completed the list.

Northridge’s boys won wrestling, swimming and golf outright, and tied Warsaw in wrestling to pile up 121 points, passing Warsaw with 10 more points in baseball (14-4). The Tigers (112) were champs in basketball, track, co-champs in cross country and were second in tennis and golf, the Raiders second in baseball and track.

Goshen was third with 103 points, nary a title but top-three in six sports. Concord won soccer and tennis to help its 99 points and fourth place in the All-Sport. NorthWood won both football and baseball with perfect records, and claimed 86 points for fifth. Plymouth (84), Memorial (61) and Wawasee (54) rounded out the boys list.
