Officers with the Goshen Police Department investigated the following incidents:

1:18 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, Wilden Avenue and Green Road, Goshen. Leland Stutzman, 36, 8630 W. 1100N, Nappanee, was arrested for resisting in a vehicle, criminal recklessness, driving while suspended-prior and a warrant after police attempted to conduct a traffic stop of his vehicle near Greene Road and Wilden Avenue. The pursuit ended near the intersection of SR 19 and SR 119 where Stutzman attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended and transported to the Elkhart County Detention Facility.
11:22 a.m. Friday, May 26, Lincolnway East, Goshen. Steve A. Waid Jr., 40, Syracuse, was arrested at the Quality Inn and Suites, 1930 Lincolnway East, Goshen, for multiple outstanding warrants through Whitley County. Waid was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia during the incident.
