Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:06 a.m. Saturday, May 27, Argonne Road and East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeffrey Scheetz, 64, Latta Street, Warsaw, and Martha Horn, 47, Miller Street, Pierceton. Scheetz backed out of a drive way and collided with Horn’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
11:58 a.m. Saturday, May 27, US 30 and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Lindell Brangenberg, 26, Country Road, Hardin Ill., and Jose Aguirre, 47, Center Street, Warsaw. The two vehicles collided at the intersection. Damages up to $25,000.
4:28 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2518 East Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Carrie Whitt, 32, Franklin Street, Peru. Whitt Backed into a gas pump at a Phillips 66 Station and left the scene. She told officers she was unaware she hit anything. Damages up to $25,000.
5 p.m. Saturday, May 27, Indiana and East Center streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Ricardo Ahuatl, 20, East CR 200N, Warsaw, and Jacob Neufer, 17, Meadow Lane, Warsaw. The two vehicles collided in the intersection. Damages up to $1,000.
8:24 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 315 North Detroit St., Warsaw. Drivers: Theodore Skeins, 55, Rosemotn Avenue, Warsaw, and Jessica Fear, 19, 17B Road, Tippecanoe. Skeins attempted to get in the other drive-thru line at McDonalds and collided with Fear’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:46 p.m. Saturday, May 27, South Main Street and East Huntington Street, North Webster. Drivers: Mihail Butcher, 65, Bocock Road, Marion and Joan Hull, 78, Lane Court, Columbia City. Butcher rear ended Hull’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
