WARSAW — The Baker Youth Club honored kids who attend the club during their annual awards celebration held Thursday, May 25.

Parents and kids were invited to attend the event. Executive Director Tracy Furnivall thanked staff and volunteers for taking care of the kids during the year. Most of the awards given revolved around the BYC’s six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, citizenship, caring and fairness. Kids were also chosen for boy and girl of the year. Child of the year awards were given out based on students’ ability to stay out of the office and striving to do the right thing.
