AKRON — The Class of 2017 at Tippecanoe Valley High School began what the school corporation hopes to become a forthcoming tradition.

Following graduation practice, Wednesday, May 24, many TVHS graduating seniors were bussed to either Akron Elementary School or Mentone Elementary School where they participated in a school-wide clap-out. Children and staff lined the hallways and clapped for the graduates as they walked through the hallways of the school.

This event was to honor the graduations, while serving to inspire elementary students to work hard toward graduation.
