WARSAW — Students at Lincoln Elementary School transformed the STEM lab into a medieval banquet hall from the year 1215.

Third and fourth graders in Jane Zellers’ class hosted a bi-annual medieval banquet for guests of all ages on Friday, May 19. Students researched medieval time period and prepare an in depth presentation. For this year’s event, students performed a group play followed by distribution of food that fit the period.

Students served guests food, sang songs, provided comedic skits and performed a class play about the making of the Magna Carta.

Guests adhered to many of the customs traditionally done in meals during medieval times such as washing their hands in lemon water and eating fancy desserts.
