SYRACUSE – Wawasee is prepping for its annual Warrior Open golf fundraiser.

The outing is set for Monday, July 10, at South Shore Golf Course in Syracuse. The Open will feature two flights, one at 7:30 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m. Both flights are 18 holes, which will include a meal in between rounds.

Cost is $300 per team ($75 a player/4 players) and contest packages are $25, which includes a 2017 Chevy Malibu from McCormick Motors, a 2017 Sea-Doo Spark from Main Channel Marina, $10,000 in cash from Northern Lakes Insurance, and several prizes from local merchants.

The fundraiser is designed to help replenish the general athletic fund at Wawasee, which supports all 20 varsity sports and cheerleading.

The outing is still seeking donors for prizes, hole sponsorship and volunteers to help with the event.
