WARSAW — Astound Dance Academy would like to recognize  their pre-professional level competition team, the Astound Performance Company, for their accomplishments during this dance season.  The team is comprised of 21 dancers ranging in ages from 4 to 18, with various levels of experience in dance.  Some have trained for multiple years while others are fairly new dancers with just two or three years of experience.

The APC competed in two competitions, one locally and another in Chicago. The team of 21 performed 30 originally choreographed dances at each competition.

The Astound Performance represented the academy very well, placing first place in many of their categories and even receiving multiple top ten overall awards in their divisions. The APC also were commended by the judges and won awards for best costume, an entertaining musical theatre award, two choreography awards, and multiple invitations to the World Dance Competition in New York City.
