Baseball
A late rally had Tippecanoe Valley get past Rochester, 10-5, in Three Rivers Conference action.
Valley scored nine of its 10 runs in the final three innings, getting the tie-breaking five runs in the top of the seventh.
Valley clubbed nine hits in the game, getting multiple knocks from Alec Craig in the victory.
The Vikings will head to Peru on Wednesday.
Softball
Valley made an early outburst stand up in an 8-4 win at Rochester Monday afternoon.
The Lady Vikes scored three runs in the first and another three in the second, then tacked on two in the fourth to take a commanding 8-3 lead.
Valley had seven hits – all singles – led by two from Kayla Scott, who drove in three runs. Mia Gunnels, Abby Betten and Ally Betten each drove in a run while Sydney Howard and Abby Betten each scored a pair of runs.
Alexis Elliott had three hits and three RBIs for the Zebras.
Valley (10-13, 5-3 TRC) visits Peru Wednesday.
