Baseball

The NorthWood baseball team stayed strong Monday night, downing Wawasee 10-0 in Northern Lakes Conference action.

Picking up the win on the mound was Drake Gongwer with nine strikeouts. Offensively the Panthers were lead by Drew Minnich who was 3-5 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs.

NorthWood improves to 16-1 overall and 9-0 in the NLC. Wawasee falls to 4-5 in league play.

Softball

The Wawasee softball team toppled NorthWood 12-0 Monday night.

Amber Lemberg picked up the shutout victory for the Warriors while Kayla White and Meghan Fretz each had three RBIs at the dish. Three NorthWood players tied for the team lead with one hit each.

Wawasee improves to 10-0 on the year in NLC games and 17-3 overall. NorthWood falls to 8-11 and 3-5 in NLC.
