Paul E. Waterson, 84, of Columbia City, went home to be with our Lord and Savior at 6:05 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor where he had been a resident since January 2012.

He was born April 8, 1933 in Albion, Indiana a son of Earl B. and Feril Elizabeth (Spackman) Waterson. His formative years were spent in Noble and Whitley Counties. He completed his education at Thorncreek School.

He worked at Passages for 24 years.

Surviving relatives include a brother, Earl “Junior” (Pat) Waterson of South Whitley; a sister, Helen L. Stephens of Columbia City; and several nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee Waterson.

The funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, May 9, at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday. The burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
