Mary Fisher
Mary Fisher, 92, Syracuse, passed away at her home on Friday, May 5, 2017.
She was born on June 22, 1924 in Albion to Frank and Ethel (Belt) Lemmon.
On June 27, 1943 she married Robert Fisher who preceded her in 1973. She was a lifelong area resident. Mary was a homemaker as well as a dental assistant in Syracuse and Milford. She was a longtime member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, where she was also involved in the St. Andrews Thrift Shop as well as the Church Bible Study Group.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. John (Barbara) Hoffman of Boyne City, Mich.; two sons: Robert (Ali) Fisher of Talent, Ore.; and David (Sandra) Fisher of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded by two sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1 at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service in the parlor. A private graveside committal service will follow.
Preferred memorials in Mary’s name may be made to Kosciusko Home Health Care and Hospice, St. Andrews Thrift Shop, or St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
