Albert Martin Jr., 74, Plymouth, died on April 28, 2017 at the University of Chicago Hospital, Chicago, Ill.

He was born on Dec. 28, 1942 in Lynch, Ky. to Albert Martin Sr. and Annie (Robinson) Martin. Albert has lived in Plymouth since 2005, having lived in Gary prior to that.

On October 25, 1975 in Gary Indiana, Albert married Aida L. (Sierra) Martin. He was a Telephone Repairman for ATT. Albert was a veteran of the United States Army.

Albert is survived by his wife, Aida; his children: Albert Martin IV, Missouri; Jeanette Mullins, Missouri; Quincy Martin, Maryland; Erica Martin, Plymouth; Robert Martin, Tennessee; his mother, Annie Martin.

He is preceded in death by his father, sons, Fredrick Martin and Stevie Martin, brother, James.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon at Crossroad Church in Plymouth. The service will follow directly with burial at New Oakhill Cemetery in Plymouth afterwards.
