Whitko scored in each of the first three innings Wednesday night to fuel an 8-0 win over Southwood.

Emmie Duggins led the Wildcats with three hits while Andrea Snavely, Anna Ousley, Reannon Hopkins and Lexi Hall all had two hits each. Ellie Snep, meanwhile, led the team with two RBIs. Snep also picked up the win behind four strong innings and eight strikeouts.

Whitko (12-2, 3-0) hosts Northfield on Monday.

Baseball

Southwood picked up a nice win over a solid Whitko team Wednesday evening. The visiting Knights won 7-3, dropping Whitko to 2-1 in Three Rivers Conference play in the process.

Alex Robbins went six innings for the Wildcats, giving up one earned run and striking out six Southwood batters. Austin Hollowell led Whitko at the plate, going 3-4.

Whitko (13-2, 2-1) hosts Adams Central Friday night.
