Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:54 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, West Lake Street, Warsaw. Driver: Paul D. Howard, 72, South CR 350E, Warsaw. Howard advised he was going through the Penguin Point drive-thru in a McDonald’s Delivery Service box truck. Howard advised he is unfamiliar with driving the box truck and did not realize it would not fit under the canopy. As he continued through the drive-thru, he struck the canopy with the box truck, causing the canopy to collapse. Damages up to $25,000.

Marshall

Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

4:43 p.m. Monday, April 24, Michigan Road, north of US 6. Drivers: Myrtle Smith, 68, Lakeville and Travis J. Stone, 26, Plymouth. Stone complained of pain to his leg. No further details were available.
