NAPPANEE  – The NorthWood softball team came up on the short end of a 6-4 final to Elkhart Central on Saturday.

Hannah Stickley took the pitching loss for the host Panthers in the non-conference contest. Stickley had a pair of hits at the plate for NorthWood.

Alexis Klotz had two hits, including a double, for the home team. Kylie Hochstetler also had a double for the Panthers.

NorthWood, now 3-6, hosts Jimtown Tuesday night.
