Boys Golf
Triton moved to 6-0 on the dual season with a 181 at Stonehenge Tuesday over visiting Goshen. The Triton JV even had a fine day, shooting a 195 to the RedHawks’ 219.
Isaac Wall led the way for the Trojans with a 44, one better than both Spencer Johnson and Beau Hepler. Ross Johnson added a 47 for the varsity total, Braden Kreft the fifth score at 50.
The Triton JV had Bryce Swihart fire a 43 and Chase Butler add a 44 to pace the junior circuit. Kade Atkins had a 53, Mace Eads a 55 and Brock Atkins a 56.
Triton will golf again Thursday at Pretty Lake Country Club in a quad hosted by Plymouth.
Baseball
Triton built a 5-0 lead Tuesday to work its way past Oregon-Davis, 7-2, in diamond action in Hamlet.
Max Slusser had a big game for the Trojans, ripping a triple, driving in two and stealing a base. Dylan Hensley had a double, an RBI and a steal and Nate Flenar walked three times and scored a run.
Flenar picked up the win on the hill, working four innings of three-hit, one-run ball, walking two and fanning eight. Conner Pitney worked the final two innings, getting the save.
Triton (5-2) will host Caston Thursday afternoon at Ken Keller Field.
