NEW CARLISLE – The NorthWood girls tennis team continued its early-season success on Saturday.

The Panthers went 3-0 to claim the team title at the New Prairie Invitational.

NorthWood did not drop a match in the round robin event with 5-0 wins over host New Prairie, Knox and Boone Grove.

The trio of Alex Jesse, Reegan Miller and Hannah Walter each went 3-0 in singles action to lead the way for coach Tif Schwartz’s squad.

The duo of Jama Rice and Kennedy Wiens were also 3-0 in doubles play for the Panthers. The doubles team of Betsy Nunemaker and Amanda Rhoade were 2-0, while Nunemaker and Katie Troyer went 1-0.

NorthWood, now 6-0 on the season, plays at league foe Elkhart Memorial on Tuesday night.
