NAPPANEE — The following events will take place at the Nappanee Public Library.

CELEBRATE CHILDREN’S BOOK WEEK AT THE LIBRARY

National Children’s Book Week, an initiative by the American Library Association, is May 1-7. To celebrate, the Nappanee Public Library will be holding come and go events in the kid’s department all week long. Stop by each day for a new craft and corresponding story during library hours. No registration is necessary.

TEEN TUESDAY CREATES 3D ART

The Nappanee Public Library’s monthly program for teens will meet from 4-5 p.m. May 2 in the cube. In May, teens can learn how to create unique 3-D art using every day supplies. Register by April 25, by calling the library at (574)773-7919, or online.

TWEEN THURSDAY CELEBRATES STAR WARS DAY

Join us for this monthly program for tweens from 4-5 p.m. May 4 in the cube. May the Fourth is Star Wars Day. Tweens, ages 8 – 12, are invited to celebrate at the Nappanee Public Library with Star Wars themed activities. All materials provided in the cube. Register by April 27 by calling the library at (574) 773-7919, or online.
