WARSAW — At approximately 5:45 a.m. Sunday, April 16, emergency personnel were called to Center Lake, Warsaw, due to report of a vehicle being driven into the lake.

Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS were on scene. It is believed that the driver fell asleep behind the wheel, went over the railroad tracks on Lyons Street, crossed Detroit Street and ended up in Center Lake. The driver did not appear to be injured.

The vehicle was partially submerged.  A dive team was called in to assist.
