Basic Digital Photography Classes
The Nappanee Library is holding basic photography classes for those interested in learning more about their digital cameras. At the second session on Tuesday, April 18 from 6:30 – 8 p.m., learn about exposure, lighting, and composition in photography. DSLR and point and shoot digital cameras are welcome. Bring your camera, memory card and owner’s manual. Register by April 11, by calling the Library at (574) 773-7919, or online.
Pushing the Limits Book Club Final Meeting
This is the final of the Library’s book club series for adults, which is part of a national initiative funded by the National Science Foundation. Join in on Thursday, April 20 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. for a discussion of the book “Land of the Painted Caves,” by Jean Auel. Come learn from other community members and join thought-provoking discussion about science, technology, engineering, and math that occur in everyday life. The first 10 people to sign up will receive a free copy of the book to keep. Register by April 13, by calling the Library at (574) 773-7919, or online.
Lego Club
Kids and Tweens are invited to join in this month’s Lego Club on Thursday, April 20, from 6:30 – 8 p.m., to participate in peer-judged building challenges and win prizes! Meetings end with free build time. In April, use Legos to build a boat. No registration necessary.
