WHITKO — The Whitko FFA Chapter had 23 members participate in the District II Leadership Contest on Friday, March 10 at Rochester High School.

Lexie Schuman placed 3rd in Extemporaneous Public Speaking and 4th in Leadership Ambassador. Renae Lehman placed 1st in the Goat Production Proficiency. The Whitko FFA Novice Chapter Meeting Team was recognized for placing 2nd at the District Chapter Meeting contest in November.

Other members participating were the Discovery Degree Quiz Bowl Team of Alison Weeks, Summer West, Aiden Hoffman, and Mason Krider; the high school Quiz Bowl Team of Rylee Gardner, Luke Spurlin, Monica Harmon and Aubrey Long; in Landscaping and Horticulture Demonstration were Renae Lehman and Lyndsey Sapp; in Animal Science Demonstration were Delaney Keirn and Trae Arnold; in Food Science Demonstration were Kristina Slater and Lauren Walpole, in Ag & Farm Business Management Demonstration were Keea Hyde and Shianna Bradley; in Creed Speaking was Claire Keirn; in Discovery Degree Creed Speaking was Hailey Arnold and in Discovery Degree Demonstrations were Augusta Garr, Abby Arter, Luke Chalk and Dale Reiff.
