Area Police Reports
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 500 block of South Union Street, Warsaw. A report was received of a physical fight between two males.
- 5:46 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 1500 block of Dot Street, Warsaw. Courtney N. Garber reported vehicles had been egged.
- 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 1600 block of West Lake Street, Warsaw. A battery was reported.
- 1:31 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 300 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Employees at Pak-A-Sak Marathon reported a theft.
- 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 1500 block of Provident Drive, Warsaw. Kathryn M. Dotson reported an iPad and two bank cards were stolen from her vehicle.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:56 a.m. Wednesday, March 29. An officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle on US 30 near Tulip Road. During the course of the stop it was determined the driver, Craig Swanson, was intoxicated. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangering a person and OWI with a BAC greater than .15 percent.
- 9:11 p.m. Tuesday, March 28. An officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle on US 31 at the Lincoln Highway overpass. It was determined the driver, Dallas Dyson of Georgia, was driving without a license. A passenger, Val Neely of Illinois, was found to be in possession of marijuana and a prescription medication. Both were taken to the Marshall County Jail.
