Jeanne Lehman, 62, Bremen, died at 7:08 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka, where she had been a patient for two weeks. 

She was born Dec. 10, 1954 in St. Louis, Mo. to Donald and June (Wiendels) Jacobs.

Jeanne lived her lifetime in this area.  She was a 1973 graduate of Penn High School. On March 19, 1977, she married Kim Lehman in South Bend.  He survives, along with a daughter, Mandy Lehman, Bremen.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Donny Jacobs Jr. and John Jacobs.

Jeanne was a homemaker and had worked at Lehman Pharmacy in South Bend. She was involved in St. Joseph County 4-H as a leader and a coordinator for Madison Township. As a child she showed horses in 4-H.  Jeanne loved her dogs and enjoyed baking, cooking and photography.

Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, March 30 and for one hour prior to the Funeral Service which will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 31, all at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa.   Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
