Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:06 p.m. Monday, March 20, East CR 1000N, east of North CR 700E, Syracuse. Driver: Katherine A. Hurley, 38, South Manor Drive, Syracuse. Hurley stated she was arguing with a passenger in her vehicle. Hurley advised she slammed on her brakes and slid off the roadway, striking a NIPSCO utility pole. Damages up to $10,000.

7:58 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, East Armstrong Road, west of North CR 300E, Leesburg. Driver: Denis E. Miller, 56, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Miller stated he had a coughing fit or seizure and went off the road, striking a fence and a tree. Damages up to $10,000.
