Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

9:05 p.m. Sunday, March 19, South Peru Road, north of West CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Driver: Dakota D. Prater, 25, South CR 1325E, Akron. Prater advised that he was traveling south on S. Peru Road nearing CR 1200S when his passenger reached over and hit him in the head. Prater advised he then left the roadway and collided with a fence and two utility poles. Damages up to $50,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

9:51 a.m. Saturday, March 18, North Main Street, North Webster. Driver: Morris L. Weyland, 84, EMS B48 Lane, Warsaw. Weyland stated he must have hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and ran into a building. Damages up to $10,000.
