Robert F. “Frankie” Howard, 61, Goshen, passed away at 11:41 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at his home.

He was born Oct. 19, 1955 in Salyersville, Ky. to Alec and Willadean (Daniels) Howard.

He grew up in Salyersville and attended public schools there. He was married on March 14, 1977 in Salyersville, Ky. to Florence Marie Howard who survives and moved to the Syracuse and Goshen area 31 years ago from Salyersville.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Howard, Goshen; his daughter, Jackie (David) Gibbs, Syracuse; two sons, Drexell (Anna) Fausnaugh, Fairbanks, Alaska; and Johnnie Howard, Goshen; six grandchildren; a sister, Erma Tackett, Syracuse; a brother, Henry (Susie) Howard, Slayersville; half sister, Mary Cook, Syracuse; half brother, Harry (Linda) Caudill, Leesburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5–7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.
