Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

6:20 a.m. Friday, March 3, South Packerton Road, north of East CR 600S, Sidney. Driver: Curtis L. Sibert, 60, East CR 700S, Warsaw. Sibert collided with a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:19 a.m. Friday, March 3, Lake City Highway, west of North Parker St., Warsaw. Drivers: David P. Miller, 21, S. CR 450W, Claypool, and Alexander Scarberry, 25, Patton Road, Hamden, Ohio. Scarberry slowed for traffic in front of him and Miller failed to stop in time, rear-ending Scarberry’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

6:29 p.m. Friday, March 3, South Buffalo Street, north of West Prairie Street, Warsaw. Driver: Heather J. Thompson, 31, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Thompson was backing up in an alleyway and collided with a parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

8:04 p.m. Friday, March 3, North Detroit Street and Lake City Highway. Drivers: Hunter A. Scott, 17, East CR 750N., Leesburg, and Keith A. Carty, 59, Short Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Scott was behind Carty on Detroit Street when Carty was forced to stop suddenly when a car turned in front of him. Scott could not brake in time and rear-ended Carty’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
