NAPPANEE — The following events will take place at the Nappanee Public Library:
TEEN TUESDAY CELEBRATES TEEN TECH WEEK
Teen Tech Week, part of a national initiative by the American Library Association, is March 6 – 10. The Nappanee Library is celebrating with a special teen Tuesday, featuring some of the library’s tech toys. Students are invited to come to the cube from 4-5 p.m. March 7, to play with Anki Cars, and Makey Makey Inventor Kits. Register by Feb. 28, by calling the library at (574) 773-7919, or online.
PINTEREST NIGHT GETS READY FOR SPRING
Come each month to create a project straight from Pinterest. From 6-8 p.m. March 8, participants can learn how to create a macramé planter, as well as a chalkboard paint flower pot. A small fee is required. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Register by March 1, by calling the library at (574) 773-7919, or online.
GHOST TALES FOR KIDS AND TEENS
The Nappanee Library is hosting a spooky show and tell program for kids and teens from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, March 9. Sacred Crow Paranormal Investigators’ Kina Fuller will be presenting about the special technology and equipment that is used to conduct ghost hunts. Hear her stories, learn about personal ghostly experiences, and see the technology in action. Registration is requested, but not required, by March 2.
