Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:02 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, Lake City Highway and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Richard Losher, 30, Walkers Ridge, Warsaw. Losher’s vehicle began to slide due to ice and hit a guardrail. Damages up to $5,000.

5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, Lake City Highway and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ryan Pruitt, 19, SR 13, Pierceton, David Morales, 51, East CR 550S, Warsaw and Justin Turner, 28, Meadow Lane, Walkerton. Pruitt slowed down his vehicle for emergency responders when his vehicle was rear-ended by Morales and Turner. Both were unable to stop abruptly due to the icy roads. Damages up to $25,000.

5:24 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, Lake City Highway and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Shan Wang, 58, Shelden Street, Warsaw, Robin Wagner, 55, SR 19, Etna Green, and Arun Amalraj, 35, Morgan Street, Stamford, CT. Wang’s vehicle began to slide, causing it to hit Wagner’s and Amalraj’s vehicles. Damages up to $25,000.

5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, Buffalo Street, north of Fisher Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Gavin Good, 17, CR 600W, Mentone and Maxwell Draffan, 20, Falmouth Road, Fairlawn, Ohio. Draffan slowed for a turning vehicle and was struck from behind by Good’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

10:22 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, Old Road 30 and North CR 300E, Warsaw. Driver: Felicia Osborne, 27, Van Buren Street, Columbia City. Osborne lost control of the vehicle and hit an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll over. Damages up to $10,000.

11 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, 501 North Harrison St., Warsaw. Driver: Bobbie Castro, 40, Harrison Street, Warsaw. Castro backed into a parked car. Damages up to $5,000.

Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:54 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, SR 15, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Drivers: Bryce Wuthrich, 18, CR 1150N, Milford, and Teresa Jordan, 51, County Farm Road, Claypool. Jordan began to slow her vehicle to turn and was rear -ended by Wuthrich’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, East CR 1000N and North CR 800E, Syracuse. Drivers: Donald Sanders, 32, Holiday Lane, Cromwell, and Jonathan Walker, 20, Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Sanders lost control of his vehicle and the two collided. Damages up to $25,000.

6:53 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8,  SR 25 and West CR 150S, Warsaw. Driver: Angel Dean, 35, Silverwood Lane, Goshen. Dean lost control due to ice and struck a tree and utility pole.  Damages up to $5,000.

6:55 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, SR 15 and West CR 600N, Leesburg. Driver: David Diaz, 39, Wayside Court, Warsaw. Diaz lost control of his vehicle and it flipped. All occupants signed off on injuries at the scene. Damages up to $25,000.

6:58 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, North CR 300E and East CR 750N, Warsaw. Driver: Michael Katzer, 18, Beer Road, Milford. Katzer lost control of his vehicle and it rolled over. Katzer received medical attention on the scene but was not transported. Damages up to $25,000.

7:04 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, US 30 and North CR 650W, Atwood. Driver: Eric Zurcher, 22, Main Street, Goshen. Zurcher lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch filled with water. The vehicle had to be pulled from the ditch, but was able to be driven from the scene. Damages up to $2,500.

10:24 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, East CR 1000N and North CR 500E, Syracuse. Driver: Ronald Bame, 46, East CR 1120N, Syracuse. Bame lost control of the vehicle and struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to flip over. Damages up to $10,000.

10:35 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, Old Road 30 and North CR 600E, Warsaw. Driver: Jose Carrillo, 24, Country Club Road,  Warsaw. Carrillo lost control of his vehicle, causing it to overturn. Carrillo had a suspended infraction and learner permit violation. Damages up to $10,000.

10:54 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, Old Road 30 and Brallier Road, Pierceton. Driver: Thomas Owsley, 22, EMS R4 Lane, Pierceton. Owsley’s vehicle slid into a ditch and rolled onto its side. Damages up to $10,000.

11:19 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, Packerton Road and East CR 1000S, Silver Lake. Driver: Emily Blevins, 41, Troyer Road, Laketon. Blevins lost control of her vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and overturn. Damages up to $10,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, US 30 and South CR 325E, Warsaw. Driver: Jessica Cone, 36, EMS W26 Lane, North Webster. Cone lost traction of her vehicle and struck an embankment. Damages up to $5,000.

9:50 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, East CR 225S and South CR 275E, Warsaw. Driver: Rebecca Garrett, 56, South CR 275E, Warsaw. Garrett lost control of the vehicle and struck a mailbox and a tree. Damages up to $5,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:12 p.m.  Wednesday, Feb. 8, SR 13 and Backwater Road, North Webster. Driver: Jean Friedrich, 17, SR 13, Pierceton. Friedrich slid off the road and rolled her vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
