WARSAW – Due to Merrillville’s girls basketball team reaching the regional round of the IHSAA state tournament this Saturday, the boys basketball game between Merrillville and host Warsaw has been moved up.

The JV game played at the Tiger Den has been moved to a 3 p.m. start with the varsity to follow at approximately 4:30 p.m. The original start times were 6:15 p.m and 7:45 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the doors.

Merrillville is currently 13-6 overall and will play LaPorte Friday night in a Duneland Conference game before heading to Warsaw. The Tigers are also 13-6 overall and look to wrap up its third straight undefeated Northern Lakes Conference season Friday night when it visits Plymouth.
