Judith “Judy” Rose, 68, Nappanee, died unexpectedly  at 9:58 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 at her residence.  

She was born Aug. 15, 1948 in Joliet, IL to William and Loretta (Johnson) Castello.

On Sept. 1, 1989, she married Charles “Charlie” Rose in Argos.

Mrs. Rose spent her childhood in Shorewood, IL and moved to Nappanee from Argos 12 years ago.  Judy enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving is her husband, Charlie Rose; son, Charles Rose Jr., Nappanee; sisters, Pam (Donald) Birkey, Channahon, Ill.; Valerie (John) Davis, Fallston, Md.; Diane (Steve) Bailey, West  Frankfort, Ill.; and brothers, Bill (Sandy) Castello, Michigan City; Dave (Judy) Castello, Ocala, Fla.  She was preceded in death by  a brother, Vincent Castello.

Mrs. Rose will be cremated and graveside services will take place at a later date.
